No, you can apply to speak free of charge, however we cannot guarantee that you'll actually get the opportunity to speak. We receive so many applications each year that it's simply impossible to give everyone a seminar, as we only have 4 seminars at each event. If you're keen to speak at an event however, we recommend you apply for one of the paid-speaking packages available.
You can apply online by completing our application form. All speakers, including those that pay to speak, must submit an application form. Once you've completed the application form, you'll then hear from our events team within 4-8 weeks. Applications are reviewed quarterly as speakers for events are usually confirmed 4 months before an event takes place.
Scroll up to view our speaker packages to compare what's included. As standard all speakers will be given a 20-minute seminar which will take place in the seminar room or theatre. Each seminar can accommodate between 30-40 people, however some venues may be able to accommodate more.
Sometimes. If AV hire is included within our venue hire then AV equipment will be included. If not, you should check with us beforehand to make sure we've got the right equipment to hand. Please note that you'll also be required to bring your own laptop if you plan on using a presentation.
Paid speaker slots will receive additional promotion to all the other seminars to help get bums on seats. We'll promote your seminar online and across our social media channels. We'll list you in the printed show guides and feature you on our website.
No, you don't need to have any previous experience. All you need is a great topic, catchy headline, a professional photograph of yourself and the confidence to deliver.
Each seminar can accommodate between 30-40 people, however some venues may be able to accommodate more as well as standing room.
All our seminars are 20-minutes long and this includes any time you want to dedicate to Q&As. Our schedule is usually quite tight so as soon as you're finished, we'll need access to the room to start setting up the next speaker.
No, visitors can simply turn up on the day for the seminars.
