In this talk, Kevin Brent, founder of leading business support provider, BizSmart, and author of ‘The Entrepreneurial Scale Up System’ will discuss the fundamentals of scaling up.
Presenting with a 2D animated backdrop (moving cartoon rather than slides), Kevin outlines the concept of the ScaleUp Journey and why it is important to recognise the key stepping stones, where you are now and where you want to get to next.
Aha moments are pretty much the norm! The audience will come away with an understanding of the ScaleUp Journey, where they are on it and why they are experiencing their current challenges. Furthermore, they will come to understand what separates businesses that are successful from those that are not and the key considerations at each steppingstone, and they will leave with practical and actionable tips on how to build a valuable and scalable business.
With the optional 20-minute workshop, Kevin will run an interactive session based around BizSmart’s InFlight Checks, enabling the audience to benchmark their business against the fundamental components of building a scalable and valuable business. This is guaranteed to challenge and to lead to actionable takeaways!
Kevin Brent is an entrepreneurial business practitioner and author of ‘The Entrepreneurial Scale Up System’, with a focus on strategy and business development and a passion for building value for business owners.
Throughout his impressive career, Kevin has combined senior level pharmaceutical experience with strategy consulting, value-based management, medical communications and e-business. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, has built four businesses and his own eco-friendly home.
Kevin founded BizSmart in 2012 with the aim of supporting business owners to build scalable, sustainable and valuable businesses. BizSmart offers practical support to help business owners unlock the potential to scale up and create value using BizSmart’s very own ‘Flight Academy’ system.
Kevin and the BizSmart team do this through a combination of 1 to 1 and peer to peer support from other like-minded business owners through BizSmart’s ‘SmartBoard’ service and have worked with over 450 businesses in the last five years.
