ODS GROUP

The ODS Group is a facilities management organisation based in Oxford, delivering services throughout the Thames Valley. Founded in 2018 as a LATCo (Local Authority Trading Company) we are wholly owned by Oxford City Council and deliver many public-sector services, including the management of the councils 8,000+ housing-stock. ODS operates across both commercial and public sectors, providing integrated facilities management: waste & recycling, property services (repairs, maintenance, compliance, retrofitting), highways maintenance (signage, drainage, resurfacing), grounds maintenance, fleet services (vehicle testing, MOTs, electric/hybrid servicing) and more. This model is designed to simplify contracts: one organisation delivering many services instead of separate providers. ODS is committed to “doing good” by creating social value in everything we do. Our values are built around four guiding pillars – workforce, community, environment and supply chain – through which we balance profit with purpose. What this means is that 100% of our profits are reinvested back into essential public sector services that benefit communities, rather than private shareholders. Environmentally we are committed to reducing carbon emissions, increasing our reliance on renewable energy, promoting recycling and waste education and managing green spaces sustainably. Above all, our philosophy is that how we run our business matters just as much as the financials, decisions are made not only by profit, but also their impact on people and the planet.
