Personal Assistant to Director

Position Overview

Salary: 12-15 hrs per week, £10.50 per hour plus benefits, overtime and bonuses

Contract: Permanent

B2B Expos (part of Memo Events Ltd) is an award-winning events and exhibition company. Our event portfolio includes a rapidly growing network of local business shows and networking events. 

We are looking for a part-time Personal Assistant (PA) to provide diary management and administrative support to the Managing Director (MD). You will report directly to the Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • To arrange meetings, book travel and accommodation on behalf of the MD and Head of Operations as requested, ensuring that diaries are appropriately organised/co-ordinated, and that the MDs time is managed efficiently. 
  • Book meeting rooms and arrange for refreshments when required
  • Greet visitors who are attending meeting with the MD in a professional and polite manner
  • Attend and assist at occasional in-person meetings and venue site visits on the mainland (travel expenses inclusive).
  • Run business and occasional personal related errands on behalf of the MD.
  • Submit regular expense claims on behalf of the MD.
  • Provide support for the organisation of staff events (e.g. meetings and Christmas events).
  • To receive incoming post on the MD’s behalf and bring any relevant correspondence to his attention.

Skills Required

  • Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to learn and understand internal systems, spreadsheets, diary management and email
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to deal with Memo Events Ltd staff, suppliers and customers
  • Willingness to undertake training as required
  • Knowledge of general office administration
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
