What is a business expo and why should I attend?

The business expo is the biggest networking event locally and provides companies a place to do business. The event includes an exhibition hall, a seminar theatre, networking café, a connections wall and many other features that will provide you with support, inspiration or advice for starting or growing a business. The expo is an annual event and attracts hundreds of visitors. For many businesses, it is the ultimate event to be seen networking at in this region!

Do I need to pre-register online or can I just turn up on the day?

We recommend that you register in advance as it allows the organisers to estimate how many visitors are planning or would like to attend the exhibition. It’s also good practice to register before the expo so that you can receive event updates and emails to allow you to effectively plan your day at the business show. Even if you’re not sure whether you’ll be able to attend the event, we recommend that you still pre-register – you can always tell us nearer the time if you’re not able to attend the event after all.

How can I pre-register to attend your business expos?

You can register for tickets online via our website. Entry to the event is free, however we ask that you pre-register for the event. When you pre-register you will receive updates on the event, so you can keep up to date with everything we have planned, plus you'll be entered into our prize draws!

How much does it cost to attend your events?

The business expo is FREE to attend as a visitor. This is made possible through the commitment of the exhibitors who have paid to have an exhibition stand at the event to promote their business. Most, or all, of the seminars, keynote speakers and workshops are also free to attend, as well as the speed networking and connections wall. Businesses who want to showcase their services and be part of the exhibition as an exhibitor will need to pay a fee for their exhibition space/stand.

What is the best way to network at your business expos?

As an attendee to the business expo it is important that you take advantage of all the networking events we’ve organised at the exhibition. Make your visit to the event a success by walking around the exhibition hall, visiting the connections wall and perhaps paying a visit to the networking café. A lot of visitors have the chance to network with other visitors simply by buying a coffee or by starting conversations with other delegates in the networking zones.

If I'm attending as a visitor, what do I need to bring with me?

Firstly, we recommend that you bring plenty of business cards with you to the exhibition. Never underestimate how many people attend these events and how many business cards you may want to hand out to new connections. You can also bring flyers with you as a visitor, to display at the connections wall (but remember to not actively distribute these in the exhibition hall as this is seen as canvasing). We also recommend that you a pen and note pad to write down ideas that you have when at the event.

What are the benefits of exhibiting at your events?

The best way to network and promote your business locally is to exhibit at the business expo! Being an exhibitor helps to give your business a boost of promotion both at the event in front of hundreds of businesses and online before the event in our expo promotion and social media activity. Can I still attend the event, even if I've not pre-registered?

If you didn’t have the opportunity to register in advance, don't worry. You can still come to the exhibition for FREE. Simply turn up on the day of the event and our events team will register you when you arrive at the registration area by the main entrance, so please allow between 5-10 minutes to register on the day of the event.


How long does it take to have my account set-up?

After you've chosen a Business Membership package that suits your needs, sign up online. We will email you confirmation of your membership straight away. We will then schedule a free discovery call with you, usually within a week of joining. It then takes about 2-3 days to have your entire membership set up, including your online profile and business directory.

Do I get to choose which event I'd like to have a stand at as part of my membership?

Yes! All members get to choose which events they'd like to exhibit at as part of their package (excludes bronze package). We allow members the chance to book their stands first at our business expos, before we promote them generally. We recommend that you book your stands as soon as possible, as they are issued on a first come, first served basis.

How do the member to member introductions work?

In short, during our discovery call with you, we will work out the types of businesses you want to connect with. We'll then send you regular introductions and referrals to businesses within our network that you want to connect with.

What sort of content can I share and publish on the online member hub?

Members can share blog posts, business news, special offers, events, recommendations and requests on the online hub, which gets promoted to all members within the network. It's free and you can publish and share as much content as you want.

Can I transfer my free stand to another event if I'm unable to attend?

Yes, if you book a stand at an event and want to change your booking to another event, just call us and we'll get that sorted.

Will I automatically get a free stand at my local business expo?

No, as you'll need to book a stand when they become available. All stands are served on a first come, first served basis. If there's a particular event you'd like to exhibit at, we recommend you book the stand as soon as possible. Members do get priority booking when events are launched, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Can I get a discount off the Standard or Platinum membership if I don't want to exhibit?

Yes! If you want to be a member, but don't want to exhibit please get in touch.

Will my membership fees be automatically withdrawn from my account after my free trial ends?

Yes, unless you cancel before the end of your free trial.

How can I cancel my club membership subscription?

If you would like to cancel or pause your membership, please get in touch by email and we'll respond within 4-5 working days.
