The SMS UK Ltd company was created in the mid 1990s by 3 very experienced engineers who after a long career working for several companies locally and nationally chose to work for themselves by creating a business offering a quality Commercial and Domestic Heating Installation and Maintenance company to clients generally
situated along the M4 corridor.

They quickly became very much in demand and SMS was up and running and developing a sound foothold in the market. As time went on several very high-profile contracts were attained as well as lots of quality local businesses. As with many companies the original directors retired. In 2007 and 2012 new directors were appointed
and the direction of SMS expanded and changed to concentrate specifically on Commercial businesses as well as developing an Air conditioning department to manage developing demand from our customers. As recently as 2 years ago we also attained our MCS certification to supply and install developing low impact energy resources such as air source heat pumps to new and existing buildings.


As a local company based in Aldermaston Berkshire our ever-present colourful vehicles are constantly seen traveling between customer sites where were generally equidistant of Reading, Newbury, and Basingstoke. We also work outside these areas but usually around 40 miles from Reading as a rule. By doing this we can provide a quick response time to any issues that may arise.


Our genuine primary focus is providing our customers with a service that not only ensures there business and those who work with in it are to the best of our ability given Heating and Cooling comfort, as well as the support to ensure there comfort is maintained whilst in work, we also provide a genuine round the clock contracted emergency service by our own current 35 engineers and support staff are given the tools, tech and training to ensure the customer is provided for in there moment of need.


We have a very wide base of Contract and General customers within a 40-mile range of the M4 that include many schools, State, Independent, Faith, Free, Academy, Specialist, Colleges and Further Education and Universities. SMS UK Ltd also support Facilities Management companies as well as a number of well-known 4 and 5 star hotels locally, Factories, Gyms, Estate Agents, Harwell Technology Estate, Private Housing and Private Estates, Borough and Town Councils, Vehicle Showrooms and Workshops, Kew gardens, Forestry Commission, Premiership football club. Accounting Firms, General, Specialist and Veterinary hospitals and Voluntary groups to name but a few.

We guarantee our Service and Maintenance contract packages and are designed and available to suit your very specific needs. After a thorough survey we can quote and provide a clear written understanding of what is required as well as contract customers having the peace of mind from the 24 hr call out service automatically provided. Any renewals of equipment found to be faulty will be quoted for prior to replacement on customers instructions unless previously agreed alternative is in place.
